What do we do personally for fun?

Oliver grew up racing competition go-karts and from then on was addicted to speed.
Since then, Oliver has recently started racing motorbikes. In 2022 he completed his first season on the Hyosung 250 (pictured) and managed a 2nd overall with a few pole positions in qualifying throughout the year.
Outside of this, he loves going to the gym and travelling around NZ with his friends.

Richard has always been a practical & hands-on person. In his early years he was an engineer and had a side hobby restoring cars before he made the switch to insurance in the late 80’s.
Now he has taken his hobby to a new level with building his own race car from the ground up. It’s loosely based off a BMW 320i Group 5 from the late 70’s. Check out Elan Motorsport to see more.

Barbara is an avid reader and has always been the self-proclaimed ‘brains’ of the family operation.
In addition to reading, Barbara loves property and is aiming to buy/renovate/sell more places in the future.
